Reinventing The Bathroom : Bathtub + Shower by Ron Arad

With this new concept Ron Arad decided to change how the bathroom look, so he has designed this incredibly unique luxury bath concept for Italian manufacturers Teuco, which rotates to become a shower. The elegant sculptural form serves two purposes, it could either be used as a shower, or it could be rotated 180 degrees to form a bathtub against the wall. Arad worked with Italian bathroom design brand Teuco to bring the concept to life. At this stage it’s still a prototype but Arad is confident that with Teuco’s production expertise his bath dream will soon be a reality in our own homes

The Strip Bathtub : A Strip of Material Seeming Laid Over the Bathtub

The Strip Bathtub from Belgium bathroom products manufacturer Aquamass delivers an unbelievably clean and unique look, that is achieved by its overflowing “skirted” effect on the Wall Strip (pictured above) and the free-standing Strip Slice (shown after the jump). The bathtub comes in white, in either a free-standing or a wall-mounted version. There are also matching washbasins in the Strip range to complete the look.

Contemporary House in Sydney : Australia

Found over Contemporist this recently completed 3 bedroom/3 bathroom home in the Sydney suburb of Avalon doesn’t look to impressive from outside, but the interesting part is the inside of the house, that I can say is really beautiful. From the outside the house also doesn’t look to big, but when you take a look at the pictures from inside I don’t know why but everything looks very large ..maybe is the minimalistic style, or maybe because of those huge windows. This house is amazing, and is currently for sale and is accepting offers over $1.6 million. Contact agents Bill Eames or David Mackay from LJ Hooker for more informations.

Modern Rocking Chair and Love Seat by Scott Wilson

These two pieces, the rocking chair, and the love seat are designed by Scott Wilson and they are from its new line of sofas and chairs called Purity. The designs are characterized by highly pronounced curves. Their structure is made of steel so that adds strength and durability and are also covered with a mesh of polyurethane. Finally these pieces look very modern, to bad they are just concepts for now …and one thing that I could add is that the rocking chair would definitely need arm rests, rockers really need arm rests

For some reason I’ve always dreamed of having a beach house, unfortunately, in my country it may not be suited. But take Malibu, California, for an example, and you’ll know what I mean. With one of the finest weather and some of the best beaches on Earth, this must be the perfect place to build a beach house – or buy one that’s already been there for many years.

Building a Bed Starting from a Picture Saw in a Magazine Ad

One day while Fabienne saw some ad pages in some magazines she was inspired by a photo ( attached below ), to design a bed, here are his own thoughts “gee I really hate bumping into a hard bed, I want something completely padded, but modern looking”.
