Spanish Modern Decor Banquet

We went on a tour of the newest homes in the Spanish territory with particular attention to their living rooms, in the hands of those who are, in our opinion, two of the best blogs decorating our country. this modern and bright living room where the furniture and just dominates details are used and the feeling of spaciousness. We love the inner wall lined with wooden material that brings warmth to the atmosphere. This apartment located in the Barrio de los Austrias Madrid, and completely renovated by architect Isabel Fraga, combines modernity and good solutions.

Integrate design a wall at mid-height

In the lounge that we share today was a half wall with shelf rather problematic, this structure that occupied much of the stay could not be removed. To hide the unsightly protrusion has continued to the wall, but before touching the roof have been fitted with decorative shelves across the top, both sides have built cabinetry. A good example of how to turn a disadvantage into a fully integrated element utilizing the space to its fullest.

House H - Vienna, Austria by syntax architektur

The task of the architects was to transform a nineteenth-century inn a family home while retaining the spirit of place and could be open to people of the village once or twice a year as a tribute to the place it was. The new building was carefully fitted between existing mature trees. The position of the restored building offers the best views and optimum use of the garden. Two volumes, bound by the entrance, containing a public and a private area. Due to very cold winters and warm summers typical of the area, the thermal insulation was essential in the design. The white walls, glass and the peculiar shape of the copper-clad roof defines the building and its relationship with the landscape.

House in Tenerife by Corona and P. Amaral Architects

The location of the house on the edge of an impressive 300 meters cliff overlooking a black sand beach at Teide volcano and a large area of the northern coast of the island of Tenerife, has been instrumental the proposed architecture. The idea of the house consists of inserting a monolithic piece of concrete and glass on a wooden platform at the edge of the cliff, thus emphasizing the geography of the farm. You enter from the top to a double-height volume that provides a space free with direct view to the Teide. From there, the sea appears as a vertical wall. A Ipe wood deck surrounding a black pool on the edge of the cliff. The sheet of water merges with the sea. Wood and water stress the great terrace landscape, while it is enriched by the architecture.
